Hey, everyone!
Just a few quick updates: we now have ONE WEEK LEFT to reach (and hopefully exceed) our minimum goal in this Indiegogo campaign!
The past couple of days have shown stellar progress! On Wednesday, we made $885 from seven contributions, and yesterday, we made $680 from nine contributions! As a result, we are just about 95% of the way to our minimum goal! Thank you so much for your incredible generosity and enthusiasm! If we keep up this momentum, we could (theoretically) reach our goal by the end of this weekend!

We will be doing some filming this weekend in Philadelphia, so stay tuned for more updates. Also, once the campaign wraps up, we'll give you more information on selecting your unique Sammus merch and perks. Every bit of Sammus merchandise claimed at our various perk levels goes directly to supporting Enongo herself, so your generosity means so much.

A couple of updates: Here's the list of the forthcoming Sammus shows in the month of June:
6.2 Philadelphia, PA—Tundra Dome | RSVP (filming!)
6.7 Brooklyn, NY—Northside Festival w/ Milo | Tix + RSVP (filming!)
6.8 Peterborough, NH—The Thing in the Spring | Tix + RSVP
6.17 Philadelphia, PA—The Sound Hole | RSVP
We will be filming the June 2nd show in Philly and the June 7th show in Brooklyn. If you can make it, you'll get a chance to see Sammus perform one of her electric, inspiring shows, and you might even have a cameo in the documentary! We hope to see you there!
The last few days have been a bit quiet on the fundraising front, and we have just 9 days left to reach our minimum goal of $30,000, but we've been stuck hovering at 89% for the last couple of days. We're a mere $186 away from finally getting to 90% of our goal. Once we reach that threshold, we'll be almost there! So let's do what we can to get the word out and make this movie happen!:

Hey, everyone!
Our Indiegogo campaign is ALMOST over! We have just 10 days left to reach (and hopefully exceed) our minimum goal of $30,000.
Last week was incredible! We had our biggest donation day in terms of amount given and our biggest day in number of contributions in a month! Thanks to all of your help, we surged ahead by over 20% in less than one day! Also, we are SO CLOSE to reaching $27,000, which is 90% of our minimum goal!
However, the last couple of days have been pretty quiet, and hopefully we can get back to the same level of enthusiasm in order to reach and exceed our goal. Maybe we can do that this week? Only with YOUR SUPPORT!

Hey, everyone!
We have some extremely exciting news for you: Thanks to some incredibly generous backers, we now have surged ahead and reached 86% of our minimum goal!!
Extra special thanks to Erika Lubowicki, who has achieved the level of Associate Producer (and gets a TON of Sammus merch) for her tremendous generosity. Enongo herself was moved to tears by this wonderful gift.
With this incredible milestone, we can now afford ALL of our technical post-production necessities: ALL post-production sound, color, final master of the documentary, AND high-powered external hard drives to safely store all of this great footage to tell this remarkable story. We can't thank you enough for your support, everyone!
We have just two weeks left to reach our minimum goal of $30,000. Hopefully, with your help, we can exceed that threshold and make this movie into a reality as best as we can! If we can make our next goal of $30,000, we will have enough for our original music score for the documentary!

Hey, everyone!
A few updates: First, in the image above, you can see some "leaked" (well, posted, but "leaked" makes it seem more exciting) photos by Enongo of a secret project that she's working on. She was in L.A. for a few days last week, and while we can't reveal those plans just, we'll be eager to share them when the time comes...!

Enongo is now teaching a class at NYU on science and feminism (love this), and in the meantime, while she's working her butt off, we're still hustling to make this documentary happen.
Our sixth week in the crowdsourcing campaign just wrapped up yesterday, and as you can see, progress is getting a bit sluggish. We have only 17 days left in this Indiegogo fundraiser, and another $10,769 to go to make our minimum goal of $30,000. That means we'll have to raise about $634 each day to make it.
This can't happen without YOUR HELP.
If we can get to $20,000, we'll have enough money for ALL of our post-production necessities (sound, color, final master of the movie). If we can get beyond that, we can cover our original music score, filming expenses (transportation, lodging, paying camera operators, etc.), gear, hard drives, and everything else that is vital in making a movie. It's a big mission, but with team work from all of us, we can make this happen and share Enongo's relevant, inspiring story with you all.
